Kitty Sitting and Whisky Tasting

July 4, 2015

Long weekend, and we’re watching some of our friend’s cats. We went to hang out with the kitties tonight, and thought some yummy whisky would be in order. Luckily, our friends had left us a bottle…

Can’t tell if she’s judging or jealous. 😉 So what was the whisky in question?

Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban Portwood

Single Malt Scotch (Highland) 46% ABV

Nose: Dark berries, port, rich

Palate: Very warming, spicy, tannins on the long finish

Notes: Not incredibly complex (no tasting arc), but it lingers. Would be ideal on a cold, snowy night. Very tasty.

A lovely addition to our collection, thanks to our friends!
